Please be kind and respectful. I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason, including but not limited to my current skill level, comfort with a subject, or other constraints. Any aggressive behavior, rude remarks, or harassment at any point during the commission will result in me cancelling the commission with a 50% refund.

I own the rights to all works produced. I am allowed to use artwork for promotion on social media, portfolios, and other platforms unless explicitly discussed. You may repost and share my artwork if you give proper credit (@chaot-c on tumblr, linking to my carrd, etc).

For fanart commissions not containing commissioner’s original characters, I retain the rights to use and monetize my art in any way I choose including but not limited to the sale of prints, merchandise, and other materials.

Use of my artwork in AI machine learning or any otherwise artificial intelligence powered engines is strictly prohibited.

Commissions are for personal use only, unless explicitly stated and paid for. Works intended for commercial means come with an additional fee for commercial rights. My work may not be used for NFTs or other forms of crypto.

Listed prices are the base price of the piece, and additional fees may be added regarding additional details, complexity, usage, etc. at my discretion.

Commissions that do not come with a visual reference will have extra fees for the design work involved, or may even be declined. I promise to work with you as closely as I can on this, but it is very time consuming and labor-intensive to be the medium between an idea and a reality.

I allow for edits to be made during the drawing process up to a certain extent. Please let me know immediately if you want changes made to your piece as I share progress updates with you. I will not change a fundamental pose or composition on a nearly-fully rendered piece for free, but I will during the sketch phase. Additional add-ons may incur extra fees.

I may take some stylistic freedoms with a character, but I will never go beyond the commissioner’s comfort zone with this. If you want total perfection, I may not be the artist for you, but I will work as closely with you as I can.

After starting, I will keep you updated with sketch progress until we have finalized the sketch and direction you want to go with the commission. After final payment, I will reach out to you for approval and review of artistic decisions.

You can ask me for a progress picture at any time, but please beware that they might not always be pretty at their exact stage in the process (“trust the process” is a saying for a reason!).

After completion of a piece, I will send you a downsized PNG image to review. I will happily make minor revisions as needed, but major changes may incur an additional fee that must be paid before making them.

Once the final piece has been approved and accepted, I will send you the full resolution .png file. If you wish for the .PSD or .CLIP layer files, an additional charge will be incurred. No physical product will be delivered.

All prices listed are in USD ($), so please be prepared to convert any other currencies into their equivalent USD amount.

I accept payment via Ko-Fi and Paypal.

A down payment of 50% must be paid to reserve your slot and before I start any work. Once a final sketch and direction has been approved, the remaining balance of the commission must be paid in full before I continue any further work. You have the option to pay in full at the start if you desire.

Cancellation: I am an artist, and I operate on time and effort, so time lost is funds lost. If for any reason you need to cancel your commission before approving the final sketch, I will give a partial refund (withholding 10% of the cost). After approving the final sketch, I will refund cancellations 50% of the total cost, keeping the original 50% down payment. There are no refunds after a piece has been completed, and completion is upon my terms.

In the unforeseen event that a sketch is approved but I am unable to complete a commission due to life events on my side, I will give a 90% refund, keeping 10% for the completion of the sketch.
